Outdoor Picnic
Every spring the community looks forward to the Annual Spring Picnic. It is usually celebrated in a nearby park and attended by almost all families. Activities include cricket, volleyball, many types of innovative games and of course a tug-of-war.
Picnic includes appetizers, barbecue and the must-have dish of mutton. As you can see the community is serious about Oriya food.
Overnight camping
During the fall the community organizes an overnight picnic/camping stretching over two nights. Families pack their bags and kids and head off to a nearby resort. The stay includes cultural programs like drama etc. and the usual food fest.
